–Who we are

Alyth in Bloom has been active for more than 20 years. The current group was formed in early 2017 and has the stated aim of helping to make Alyth a lovely place in which to live and work—and to visit.

Alyth in Bloom is a member of “Take a Pride in Perth and Kinross Association” and operates under their charity number, SC027774.

We are a charity run entirely by volunteers. Our funds come from a range of sources, from donations, from grants, from our own fund raising efforts. We do not employ any staff and all funds are used to further our aims.

Our annual accounts are independently audited.

–What we do

Most of our work is focused on the enhancement of existing natural and planted areas in and around Alyth and the creation and development of new, planted areas. Increasingly, it is encompassing the other core pillars of all bloom groups, viz. community participation—working with schools, youth organisations, local businesses and residents—and environmental responsibility.
